Billing & Payment Policy

1. Accepted Payment Methods

We currently accept the following payment methods for eBook purchases:

  • Credit/Debit Cards
    • Major card brands as indicated at checkout (e.g., Visa, Mastercard, etc., subject to availability).
  • Google Pay
  • Apple Pay

All payments must be made in the currency displayed at checkout.


2. Payment Processing

  • Payment is processed at the time of purchase.
  • Your order will only be confirmed and your eBook delivered after successful payment authorization.
  • Transaction details will appear on your bank or payment provider statement under the merchant name associated with LiterateX or our payment processor.

3. Taxes

  • Any applicable taxes (such as sales tax or VAT, where required by law) will be calculated and displayed at checkout before you confirm payment.
  • By completing your purchase, you agree to pay all applicable taxes.

4. Billing Information

  • You must provide accurate and complete billing information (name, billing address, and payment details).
  • Providing false or incorrect billing information may result in delay, non-delivery, or cancellation of your order.

5. Payment Security

  • Payments are processed through secure, third-party payment processors using industry‑standard encryption.
  • LiterateX does not store full credit card numbers on its servers.
  • You are responsible for keeping your account and device secure when using Google Pay or Apple Pay.

6. Failed or Declined Payments

  • If your payment is declined, your order will not be completed and no eBook will be delivered.
  • You may try another payment method or contact your bank/payment provider for more information.
  • We are not responsible for any fees your bank or payment provider may charge (e.g., foreign transaction fees).

7. Currency Conversion & Bank Fees

  • If you are purchasing from outside the United States, your bank or payment provider may apply currency conversion rates and fees.
  • Such fees are outside the control of LiterateX.

8. Invoices & Receipts

  • A digital receipt or invoice will be sent to the email address you provide at checkout.
  • If you need a duplicate receipt or a customized invoice (where possible), contact us with your order details.

9. Billing Questions & Disputes

If you believe there is an error with a charge, contact us first so we can review it:

Please include your full name, order number, purchase date, and a description of the issue.


10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Billing & Payment Policy from time to time. Any changes will apply to future purchases and will be posted on our website.
